En Route to Mt Kinabalu and Gala Convention

I am now back in Sabah. Back to the good food, the good beach, and one of the world's most beautiful sunset. I'm Home!

So far, we have about 100 Savers signed up after two weeks, this is quite an accomplistment, but I am sure we will be at the 400 Savers mark just before the KK Launch.

Mr Ong has assembled a crew of 45 people to climb Mount Kinabalu this coming July and I will be part of it. I've ascended to the top once, in December 2007. It was a very enriching experience. Then I was still training for the SUKMA 2008 and I would say I was rather fit. Now with the hiatus from track, I have to regain running again. Last one week, I obtained the Asics Gel and a Timex Ironman wristwatch. I have been running 15 mins a day since. I also bought the May Issue of Runners World.

What I've noticed about Runners World is that it contains a lot of information and motivation regarding preserverance. Top athletes not only are able to run faster and stronger, but are able to take more pain. They too have the tendency to stop, due to muscle fatigue, pain in the joints, breathlessness, and most of all, the mind. They share their stories of how they train, how dedicated they are and most importantly, how they took the pain.

It's like MLM in a sense, we make gradual paces, we dream that we want to achieve high ranks and high incomes, but if we just do the minimal, we would not reach it. Instead, taking the pain, enduring the rejections, the uncertainty, the swimming against the cultural current will get us to where we want to.

Aaron Peirsol, an Olympic swimmer who recently beat Michael Phelps, was invited to give a speech to a crowd of primary school students. He was showing his medals to the kids proudly, but what he said afterwards inspired me. He said " Although the medals were special, the hard work, determination and friendships behind them are far more valuable".

Let us work hard and reach the peak of both Mt Kinabalu and Gala Convention!

CEO's E-mail on Leader's Challenge

Mr Ong has sent out an e-mail regarding the upcoming Leaders Challenge. Here's a short excerpt:

Dear Leaders and friends coming for the Leaders’ Challenge,

1…GREETINGS FROM THE ORGANIZERS

Greetings from New Life! You will be coming for the Leaders’ Challenge in less than 2 weeks. We hope that the 3 days that you will spend at the Leaders Challenge will bring about a change in your approach to the New Life business. For those who will come with the right attitude, much can happen. New Life stands at the threshold of a new beginning. With the Smart Savers program as the “opening gambit”, we are poised to bring a new dimension to the business as we know it.

 2…A TIME OF UNPRECENDENTED CHANGE

It is a time for unprecedented change! The coming decade will be a time of even faster technological progress and new beginnings. The Economic ‘melt-down’ is the start of a new era of inventions and creative “attitudinal” developments. The re-distribution of wealth in the new world order and the advent of new Internet Marketing channels will lead to concepts of collaboration that will bring about unprecedented networking.

3…RIDING ON THE CREST OF CREATIVE DEVELOPMENTS

In coming out with the Smart Savers program, New Life is riding on this new crest of creative developments. It is bringing change to the power of networking. Where networking was once slow and painfully troublesome, it is now easy and non-threatening. MLM as we know it requires deep commitment to succeed and it is usually expensive and highly priced, normally carrying representations of unrivalled potency and effectiveness which may not be appropriate for the majority of intending networkers. Increasingly, such approaches will carry disintermediation. High margins accompanied by expensively-priced products will become less relevant in an Internet-driven society.

4…SAVINGS & EARNINGS AMIDST HIGH FUNCTIONALITY

The Leaders’ Challenge will be a first step in introducing easy-to-access approaches to networking. People who come in to New Life will find that they will get.....

Home Gall Bladder Flush

A little bit of health info. Gallstones are a stone like mass that is formed in the gall bladder or its ducts. Gallstones may be caused by a combination of factors, including inherited body chemistry, body weight, gallbladder motility (movement), and perhaps diet. Most times, when diagnosed by doctors to have gall stones, their first and immediate advice would be to have the gallbladder cut out or have it treated with lasers. As Newlife always suggests to it's members, Try going natural first before going surgical; which is to try a natural approach before cutting anything out. Logic : If natural doesn't work, you can still go for surgical, but if you do surgical...gall bladder doesnt just grow like that. Of course, if it is urgent and acute, definitely go with doctors advice. Below is a method of how you can naturally flush out gallstones.

THE HOME GALL BLADDER FLUSH

Before starting the Home Flush, check with your doctor that your Gall Bladder is not too damaged by cholesterol and need not be surgically removed immediately.

Then begin Step #1 - #3, which will take a total of 2 weeks:

STEP # 1 :
Dr. Lynn Tan's Detoxification & Rejuvenation Programme - 7 days
Purpose : To firstly remove the cause of your problem through cleansing of the liver/body tissue. To rejuvenate the liver and gall bladder

STEP # 2 :
Stone Softening - 7 days
Slowly go back to your normal but smaller meals. Avoid eating animal protein and other high cholesterol foods.
Drink at least 6 - 8 glasses of ACV + Distilled water ( Honey may be used in this combination if necessary )

STEP # 3 :
The flush - on the 15th night
Mix 6 Oz of Lemon juice ( approx 5 lemons ) with 6 Oz of Virgin Olive Oil ( or flaxseed oil as a better substitute ). Drink quickly. Go to sleep straight away to avoid nauseous feeling.

The next morning, when you feel like evacuating or eliminating ( going to the toilet for the big one ), use a collander to collect stones which might come out together with the faceses. ( A water enema may be done during the morning to induce elimination if necessary )

*** Do note that stones may sometimes only be eliminated during the afternoon or evening if not during the morning.

This flush may be repeated the following night if necessary

Leaders Challenge 8-10 May

The day to the Leaders Challenge is drawing near, in less than 2 weeks to go. The Newlife Organizing team just concluded a briefing at the venue, Gracehill Orchard Lodge, Bukit Tinggi, which is located 45 minutes away from Newlife@PJ. The Leaders Challenge consists of 4 broad areas.

The first area -

WHAT MLM REALLY IS

This area covers in detail what kind of marketing schemes, compensation plans and scams are out there. This will enable the Leaders to identify what kind of plans are in the market. Plan formulation can be divided into 6 categories, abbreviated as SUBMAH. On top of SUBMAH is Direct Selling. Below it are the scams and schemes. The structure as follows:

Direct Selling

-------------

Stairstep

Unilevel

Binary

Matrix

Australian 2up

Hybrid Plans

--------------

Pyramids/Chain Letters/Ponzi Schemes

In this session, it explains how companies structure plans and how it is not like what they are. The session will also touch base on how the scams and schemes are formed and why it is illegal, as well as how loyalty programs work e.g. BonusLink, Real Rewards, etc.

 2nd Area –

NEWLIFE & MLM

The second area explains where Newlife stands and what our position is among the many plans; the Strengths, the Weaknesses, the Opportunities, and the Threats or S.W.O.T. Analysis, if you will. This session will also introduce the 9 Foundational P’s which are:

Product

Price

Physical Distribution

Promotion

Plan

Programs

Process

People

Preparation

 3rd Area –

HOW WOULD YOU BUILD IT IN MLM

In this section, it explains how does a person structure and build his/her group most effectively and efficiently. One leg, two legs, three legs, ten legs...? It dispels the common misperceptions of structuring and show how they are impractical, as well as show which ‘sunshine’ or ‘satay’ will generate the most income while encouraging sustainability.

 4th Area –

TRANFORMING YOU

This is by far the core of the Leaders Challenge. As the title suggests, it brings out the best in you. Here you will be challenged, be imparted knowledge, learn skills, polish up the attitude as well as uncovering the unused and unknown talents of greatness which has been bestowed to you. At the end of it, each and everyone will have a personal plan for success, and if you follow it to the dot, you will definitely succeed in this tested and proven method, because it is determined by YOU.

These are some of the features and highlights that you can expect to see during the Leaders Challenge. There are more programs, interesting ones, which I did mention, but you can bet that it will be worth your while.

The response for the Leaders Challenge is overwhelming, many people have to be turned down due to the large number of interested participants. Nonetheless, there will be another Leaders Challenge coming up real soon after this, so make sure to book once the news it out.

Also, please comment in the box available below:

 1)      Can a non-success make another person succeed?

 2)     Can a non-player coach a basketball team?

Smart Saver Program's JARGON

Definition of JARGON ( according to webster dictionary )

1 a: confused unintelligible language b: a strange, outlandish, or barbarous language or dialect c: a hybrid language or dialect simplified in vocabulary and grammar and used for communication between peoples of different speech2: the technical terminology or characteristic idiom of a special activity or group3: obscure and often pretentious language marked by circumlocutions and long words

In other words, these are some of the terms which you will encounter -the new terms...yes, the Jargons:

Independent Business Owner ( IBO ) : A person who registers with Newlife to be a full member by paying RM60; is able to enjoy all the earning privileges

Smart Saver ( Saver) : A person who registers with Newlife to be a Saver by paying RM10; is able to purchase Newlife products at distributor price  as well as Smart Saver Products. Smart Savers are able to earn eVouchers but not Smart Points.

Smart Points (SPt) : Points which a person gets when they purchase a Smart Savers Product with SPt associated with it. If Saver purchase products, they are not able to keep the points and will be passed up to the top nearest IBO in the lineage. Each SPt can be exchanged with cash and the value is fixed according to the pool, which will change from time to time, but lowest cap is at RM4.

eVoucher ( eV)  : electronic vouchers which an IBO and a Saver gets when they purchase a Smart Saver Product with eV associated with it. One eV is equivalent to RM2 and is redeemable for all Smart Saver products EXCEPT the Super Reducer Package. Also, one is not able to use eV to redeem more than 50% of the Smart Savers.  It is in electronic form, where it is saved on the Newlife database, can be checked on website and used at Newlife Stores. 250 eV will qualify a person for an all expense paid Gala Night at Genting Highlands.

eWallet: Place where SPts earnings are kept under each individual IBOs accounts. Can be redeemed for cash at Newlife branches

Qualifying Points ( QP ) : IBOs must have 10 QP to be able to earn from SPts every month. For New IBO ( within 6 months of first sign up ) , 50PV = 10QP. IBOs 50PV = 2QP, 1 new IBO sign up under them = 4QP.

Sunflower : The way a person arranges their lines directly under themselves individually

Sate/Satay : The way a person arranges their lines in a single file, one immediately below another.

* These terms are interpreted through my own understanding. May be amended if there are mistakes

Launch Day!

It’s Soft Launch Day here in Petaling Jaya.

Lots of exciting programs lined up for the day, here’s the schedule:

Here’s what a person coming in would experience: Lucky Draw, Cooking demo Blood Pressure Test, Tanita Machine – to check Metabolic Age, Visceral fat ( fat surrounding the organs – very important ) and Blood Analysis.

You are able to check the status of your blood. Most importantly, you are able to see if your blood has heavy metal poisoning, calcium deficiency, free radical damage, cholesterol crystals, skin related signs, and PARASITES! I emphasize on Parasites because a number of people have that in the blood. It is quite common nowadays due to the food and especially in PORK which is not cooked enough, as well as raw fish and all. All these are seen on one drop of blood! Let’s say if one has many parasites and cholesterol crystals on that one drop, imagine how much of those are in circulation in the body.

Luckily, Newlife has programs and products which are able to improve the blood’s condition. One of the volunteers tested their blood and it was all clotted together. She then went to take a glass of spirulina, and tested half an hour later, the condition of the blood improved immediately! The blood cells are now separated into individual ball like shape and floating around freely. Have you took your spirulina lately?

A good crowd turned up! Below Mr Tan gracing the occasion.

A portion of submitted forms of Super Savers

Everything went well and it was a successful launch!

Good news is that, all of these will come to KK real soon!

p/s: Hey guys, drafted this long ago, but since on the road show, not easy to get time to post it up. Hope you guys are doing well :)

Road show

We're having a series of road shows going down all over West Malaysia promoting the launch of the Smart Savers Campaign. Here are the dates and venue of the meetings. The time will all be 8:00pm

According to Mr Ong, the key to building a successful out-of-town line is to get one leader in that area and build him/her. Any other contacts you have in that area you can pass it to him/her so that you won't have ten people calling you at the area - you just need to delegate to one.

Of course, to get THE ONE, you must first identify a few. Good news , I will be travelling with the group on the roadshows, so if you have any contacts you would like me to meet, e-mail or call me.

Of course, not forgetting our home town Borneo, the roadshows will come in May so be prepared with your contacts. Happy Easter :)

N.I.B.C.- Newlife Independent Business Center

Newlife Independent Business Center (NIBC) is similar to what is known as the Stockist Concept. A stockist is a person who stocks merchandise so that others can obtain it from them even more conveniently.

The main benefits of becoming a stockist is that, aside from the income from the Newlife plan, you can earn a stockist commission.

Besides a regular Stockist, a member can apply to be a Mobile Stockist. The main difference of a Stockist and a Mobile Stockist is that a Stockist requires a shoplot or houselot whereas a Mobile Stockist, as the name implies, is mobile where no shop is required.

As Mr Ong mentioned earlier, the key element in earning big in the new Newlife system is to become a stockist and/or to recruit multiple mobile stockist. One of the reason is that stockists are the last person to step out of the business, and also, stockist generally has a higher production volume.

A few guidelines to becoming a stockist were announced few days ago:

1) The ratio for a Stockist to Mobile Stockist is 1:2, which means, in a city, if there is 1 stockist, there should be about 2 mobile stockist; if there are 2 Stockist, there should be 4 mobile stockists.

2) In each major cities, e.g. Kota Kinabalu, there will be AT LEAST 5 Stockist, which means there should be about 10 Mobile Stockist. Smaller cities and towns will have about 2 - 4 Stockists.

3) You only need to deposit half the amount to obtain the goods. I.e. to get RM 10,000 worth of items, you deposit RM5,000 ; RM2000 worth for RM1000 deposit.

6)The exact guidelines will be available very soon at the respective Newlife Offices near you.

Also, another great news to all is that, Multiple accounts is now enabled, which means you can use your name to sign up up to three accounts. We are tapping on the trend of modern networking where one can have multiple income centres. The way to maximize your income using the multiple accounts will be elaborated.

For a beginning, start preparing to be mobile stockist friends:)

CEO's DRP experience

Few months ago, Mr Ong engaged in his first Detoxification & Rejuvenation Program (DRP) experience and as you've all probably know, one of the main 'attractions' of the program is the coffee from down south.

For those of you who've not heard of such a thing, the DRP is a 7-day program which cleanses the body of toxins which are in your body for many years and at the same time, feed every part of your body with essential FOOD which they are deprived of because of regular eating of fried noodles, white rice, fried chicken, curry , etc  so that the body can increase it's immune system to fight disease which also prevents disease such as high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, and cancer from popping up. For those who are having the symptoms already, the body will be made stronger to fight back and heal itself.

Aside from that, when the body rids itself of accumulated toxins, it adjusts itself to optimum weight.... which means - if you are bigger in size, you will lose weight, if you are underweight, you will put on weight!

Back to the story, Mr Ong did the DRP and found that he has improved his overall well being tremendously. Also, being blessed with the talent of writing ( he authored a number of books ), he has described his experience in an e-mail which is sent to close friends to share the joy. Good news is, I managed the obtain the e-mail ;)

Here's an excerpt from the e-mail:

"I don't think I will forget yesterday evening (Monday, 16 February 2009). My hands were clammy, my heart was beating fast, and i had this sense of heightened excitement as I made preparation for what was to come the next day.

You probably might think that I was going for a big event or attending my daughter's wedding or going for an exciting second honeymoon with my wife. But if was none of these things. It was my first real Detoxification via the "back-end". "Back-end" you say? Yes back-end it is and i could only approach it with fear and trepidation. Yes, this is my first encounter with Enema and she is not a lady!

Time for confession!! Over the years, whenever i heard of New Life and Dr Lynn Tan, I always thought of the 'backside' and I used to make fun of her methods telling our common friends that coffee is meant for consumption from the front-end and if it was destined for the back-end, the 'bum' should change places with the mouth.

Imagine now being confronted with a choice of going for coffee enema or quietly declining it by giving a lot of 'poor' excuses...."
We at Newlife are like a big family, thus Sharing is Caring. Just send an e-mail to me at

newlifesean@gmail.com

with the subject "Mr Ong DRP"  and i will forward the e-mail to you. It's a humorous piece and we had a good laugh out of it and i'm sure you will too. Hope to hear from you soon. :)

Next post will be about the N.I.B.C. ( Newlife Independent Business Centre ) which is similar to the Stockist concept. This is one of the key components to making it big in the Newlife 2.0 marketing strategy so stay tuned to find out how you can be benefit from it.

Till then, have a blessed and holy Good Friday :)

Food for Thought

After work, the four of us played basketball in the court right in the middle of SS2 - Mr CK Tan, Mr Ong Hock Siew, Alex ( a friend ) and myself. Mr Tan and Mr Ong were a team, where as Alex and myself a team. The format we played is first team to score six baskets (points ) win a set. We played four sets. They were extremely sharp on the shooting, and can see that they have a very solid fundamental for basketball - they were both state players. Of course on our side, we were'nt that bad - we had ME! Jk, Alex is also a very good player. We won the first set, they were all fired up; they won second, and third set. On the forth set, we won by a very close two points - It ended in a draw.

On the way back, Mr Ong dropped me back to the condo. We had a short chat and we touched base on two subjects :

First, the 2 most important things about wealth are
1) How to make it
2) How to keep it

Most people know how to make it, but once they make it, they do not know how to keep it. His advice is to keep a portion - he said RM5o0-1000 every month ( you can start off with 10% of your income ), into a bank account that you can NEVER EVER touch. By the time you reach 50, you will have at least 2 million in your bank account because of the multiplier effect.

The second thing is about RECRUITING.

When we are planning to expand our business and recruit in other cities and towns, e.g. in Sabah's case: Tawau, Sandakan, Lahad Datu, etc,  we don't need to approach 9-10 people when we are there, we just need 1 and 1. The method ,which he will teach in further detail, is to identify the person who is most willing and has the biggest drive.Tell him/her that whatever contacts you have in that area, you will pass it to him/her and place it under him/her. This will help him/her to expand quicker and also that you as the leader can coordinate better in that city/town. It is a very powerful method of expanding, and especially with the Smart Savers Program launching soon, we can sweep the town by storm! And yes, you are part of it.

Side note: Sorry for late posting today: working on the audio enhancer to increase volume of mp3 file. Got my hands on the recording from the meeting the other night. Will post it up soon- check back shortly.
